This is how you make tradiational lassi in quick and easy steps. Hope this fills your thirst for the Lassi love.

Traditional Lassi


Yogurt or Dahi- 2 1/2 cups
Ice cubes – as required


  • Blend together yogurt/ dahi for two minutes in a mixer/blender.
  • Add ice cubes and blend for a minute more.
  • Pour into serving glasses from a height so as to form a foam.


If the mixture is too thick add a little milk and adjust consistency and blend once more.
Few other variations of making lassi are Sweet lassi, Masala lassi, Mango lassi and Pudinalassi.
